So... you don't do a lot of it yourself?

In that matter, you are current.. it's just holding two buttons, and the combos are done for you. It looks cool,sure.. but you,the player, aren't doing those cool things

I can't remember the demo now

some cool stuff you can do yourself, obviously, like warp strike

the attacks in FFXV arent even satisfying

thewyre the most basic shit ever

and press a button at a certain time, basically, with warp strike kinda feeling like the only satsifying thhing thus far

Because when it hits,it really hits

if FF16 has combat similar to DMC

sure by all means make it action

If the combo is done for you, kinda sounds like it's an action game trying to be like a turn-based, which would make sense I guess

but if its going to the most barebones boring garbage ever, then dont even bother

I don't think DMC is the be-all,end-all standard, because other action games have delivered combat that's different from that but still fun to do because you still can pull off other options. The real concern for action in any action game, really,is rather or not you're actually letting the player pull it off themselves..

Essentially that

And for turn based, you're just clicking a button and watching, which is uninteresting but that's just me

Persona 5 is very fast-paced and very stylish about it's combat too

theres strategy in turn based

who will attack first?

who should i debuff first?

should i defend with a character?

Yeah.. but most of the time? It's basially "Pour the damage out"

Very few JRPGS ever make me feel the need toa ctually just sit back and think on my strategy

That's true,yes.. But enemies in the RPG should implore the player to use their options

Persona 5 actively did so.. it'd implore you to always gain and make new personas

I haven't played too much of em,but... From gameplay,it checks out for having a fair enough mix of both

Can FF gameplay just be like KH? ? Then I'd play
