You didn't blindly accept everything you were shown

Actually, every character was improved in that game imo, except for Tails of course
Sonic wasn't cracking jokes like he was in a cartoon, Eggman seemed more sinister..

And the games i played were quite literally "go here, then go here and save the princess" levels of storywriting.

Well... I was not so easily impressed

I think forces was a better step forward than recent games

But it was still lacking quite a lot

Although truth be told i wasnt born with the good side of genetics stick so i was easilly amazed by everything

The story really brought me back to the Adventure days. It was definitely more serious than what we've gotten recently

Sylveon looks good tho

Even so, I had the feeling it would be.... Bigger than what we did get. Prolly a combination of me not liking the animal only world and lack of hub

But yeah i guess if were looking for more story based games i did play a lot of Zelda.
