I don’t know if Repliku sacrifing himself would’ve hit the same if it was Ansem-Riku. Him saying “No. you beat Ansem and you’re still here.” was a great moment for Riku’s character.

Which is true, considering the scenes back in the big hero 6 world

It went from being about Riku to being about Repliku

Who we didn't even know was alive in Riku until an hour before that.

I thought it was good closure for Repliku. We knew from CoM that he had his own heart, so it’s not like his return came out of nowhere. Besides, Riku got his moment when Ansem was defeated later on.

I just thought Riku confronting himself from KH 1 was the final piece of his character arc.

If they were GONNA do the Repliku route he should have shown up earlier and be up front that's who KH 3 Riku was
