You have a chance of getting him early and the fifth pull is guaranteed if you didn't get him in the earlier pulls for the run of that deal.

Pick up his trait medals from the VIP Board if you get him also if the traits from the trait medals given in the pulls aren't good enough.

I’ve gotten the pet EA 120 thrice on these medals (out of over 500 pet trainings). Tifa already has EA 40 so I’ll have to replace that sometime...

nahh, I tried that one pull and didn't get it, if I wanted to try another I would've either had to go ham with how much time was left on the thingy, or just buy it and I aint spending more money on it lol

For the jewels and proceeding, you really just need to survive. At some points, the objective rewards are just extra.

They become link objectives at some point as well.

In the 800s, I believe

I really needed newer medals at the time followed by lower tier due to restrictions.

yeah, at 801 they become linked objectives with timers. then at 891 they ditch the timer (thank god)

as it stands, i only have about 20 proud quests before i'm all caught up

(though i still have about 5 pre-801 quests with incomplete objectives, and they're all "use at least 5 special attacks")

(like gee, i'm sorry i'm so strong that i can take everyone out in just 1 medal. lemme grab 5 weak medals to compensate)

the main reason I wanted dark repliku was because I've been stuck on I think 910 in the regular campaign
