I am able to get him down to like 16,500,000 which is less than half his HP but I’m wondering if I can beat him or if it’s a lost cause. Maybe I use my SN attacks at the wrong time? I’m also wondering if I purchase skills will those help since I don’t have skills on these guys. Like do skills help you tremendously

for your setup i'd put SN++ KHIII Sora first and Illus. Sora last

ok, im going to try that now. When should I start using SN attacks? I've been using them all in a row starting with the highest strength first and working down, then renew them with Ven, then repeat. But at all once. I've been doing it after 2nd medal. Is that right?

seeing your traits, i'd actually put ventus first, attack with him then press auto

let the game do the job with nova

the first batch of novas will fire before all your medals, ensuring they don't do 1 damage, then the second batch of nova will trigger before your last medal, being the strongest possible and buffing your last, most powerful medal

you need to put SN++ KHIII Sora in second slot because his nova fully buff your setup

ok, im going to try that. Here ill show you all my other traits

and Illus. Sora is your strongest i think even without Ground DEF trait, so using it last with max buff is best

but at the end of the day, the boss is balanced around you using power medals

so my new order is Ventus, KH III Sora, SF Sora, Dilan, Tifa, then Illus Sora. I'm going to attack with Ven and then hit auto and see what that does
