Sometimes, animations take long, so you've gotta manage how much time you do nothing while waiting on the enemy and doing something else (like chatting here).

It's not always about stalling to prevent selection from other players as far as going near the time limit goes.

I've heard about that tactic but I honestly don't really want to do that

I like to at least do something else while waiting for the opponent to finish.

It's a bit dull and mundane to watch them attack you.
