It was a positive point about twitter's update.

I think reddit rolled it out sooner.

Also 'new' reddit looks fresher tbh. I've personally been using it more after that new layout became available. The old one was hard to look at.

Preferring the old one is a case of not being able to adapt to change.

It didn't work so well in the beta phase b/c the plugins would have issues and button navigations were different, throwing users off.

One thing in old kh13s point actually, the navy blue of the website doubled up well as a dark mode. No reason to change the colour scheme to this almost baby blue/white with no dark equivalent

I think it may be compatible now, but navigating might be difficult b/c of the placement. At least it's just a suggestion and not forced upon us, giving us the old option to use still.
