Honestly teletubbies is really dark. They're basically slaves to the infant sun god, being told when to wake up, what to do by the sun god's minion who only speaks through a tube. They have to entertain their god and to help in this, they were forced to have television devices installed into their flesh. And don't forget the pink custard they eat that probably acts as suppressor to keep them docile and subservient.
