Luxord is back driving Emo Dylan Spouse around, Marluxia and Larxene probably went back in time back where they need to be, and Demyx is just chilling on the beach in Hawaii watching the fat man lose his ice cream because of a giant stupid-head

I doubt Lauriam and Elrena returned to their time 'cause that would alter the future(modern KH era), wouldn't it?

Nope because they wouldn't have memories of it. They would return to the exact point they perished with no memory of the future

It's the same reason why Young Xehanort hasn't corupted the timeline yet

But wouldn't that be weird, Ventus and Subject X/Skuld being in the future and Lauriam and Elrena are not?

And also, there is no way Marluxia and Larxene were summoned from the past like Ansem SOD, Xemnas, etc., because in the times of Re:COM, Vexen hadn't found a way to place a heart into a Replica. Also, Young Xehanort was called from the past during DDD, not way back during Re:COM, and he's the one who transferred all the hearts to the Replicas.

Lost Memory

Well the thing is is that no one could be re-completed until after Xemnas was defeated because of the sigil. Also I believe it says somewhere that they were all made into somebodys but returned to nobodys when offered the proposition.

So after KH2, all of the nobodys were re-completed and some decided to stay at Radiant Garden/help Sora and the gang, while others returned to the organization when presented with the opportunity. Therefore, it makes me think that they just returned to sombodys again in the current time frame.

Because that's probably why Luxord is in his place because he was probably sacrificed(?) in his world and his heart traveled to the KHverse. After he perished, his heart went back to his world

And Sora and company are just like “all right, now have you learned your lesson?”

I think a lot of them will be more amicable to joining Sora and company– Saix especially since he’s finally reconnected with his old boyfriend. ^__^

@CentralStation Hmm... well, there are all kinds of possibilities, but the thing is, MoM is our first real look at her story. She has baggage from before coming to the Destiny Islands, and I wanna explore that–

I wanna see her reckon with what Terranort did to her as a kid, and what that means for her friends– certainly the fact that she basically led Xehanort to Sora and Riku’s world would weigh pretty heavily on her psyche.|| Beyond that, I want her to come into her own as a Keyblade Master like Sora and Riku– not just in a “let’s arbitrarily make this non-combatant girl an action girl; that’s empowering, right?” way (though even as far back as KH2, it hasn’t really been in that way, which is good), but in a way that plays into the whole thing I mentioned about her having been around the block a few times and Knowing Things at this point. She’s getting the beginnings of a more active role in the story; let’s keep that thread going. And we could also play with the fact that, yeah, she’s pretty new to fighting the Heartless actively, so she’s experienced in some ways and inexperienced in others. And more than anything else, I want her to have Her Game. In the same way that KH3D is Riku’s Game. MoM doesn’t really count as Kairi’s Game, I don’t think, ‘cause it’s not a main series game and ||she didn’t really have her big bit until the very end

Why do you find Kairi as a character compelling? What do you think would be a satisfying or at least cathartic trajectory for her story to go?
