It's an unofficial birthday.

Its weird that they based it on com's original release date.

Something something he was reborn something something

Have one of those- it's out of leather tho, so, it's hot as firetruck lmao

I want that. Looks cozy.

Ah, that'd explain it. But reborn? That's news to me. Riku hasn't been confirmed as a reincarnation of anyone or as returning from the dead in CoM since he didn't perish then. Weird. CoM's release date makes sense as a fan birthday as it was the game he was first playable in and first had his own story that the player could experience through him.

Yeah, i think where the reborn part comes from is because of the title on re:com. Reverse/rebirth.

Yeah.

If it was an M rated game Riku would have been naked for part of the game.

They like employing metaphorically charged, tactful nudity, them Japanses story tellers.

Meanwhile, in America, we have to bleach our eyes any time we see realistic human anatomy

If thats the case, BBS would be M rated because of that one Ventus part.

Did riku techincally die in the end of kh1?

Cracked theory.

I have this one fanart at the ending of kh1 and how he feels, but I don't remember the artist and ive been searching for them.

Makes me sad because I really want to share it.

I’m not entirely sure why Riku didn’t end up with a Heartless and Nobody. He lost his heart to darkness and ended up in the Realm of Darkness after all.

Thats true.

Well

It can be the same instance like aqua

Kinda sorta

I meann we could say that he and Aqua ended up the same way. Instead of Riku being corrupted by the darkness and becoming an Anti-Riku like Anti-Aqua, he had Ansem take his body. So he already dealt with that sort of darkness and kept his original form in the RoD??? I dunno, kinda not well put together 😂

Theres another thing too, how the hell did ansem the wise pull out riku frok the realm of darkness and put him in castle oblivion.

I don't think he really did, I think it was mostly Mickey guiding Riku towards the castle, and Riku following Sora's connection as well

It's that and how Ansem the Wise saw the potiental in Riku to fix his darkness issue and fix his mistake with Xehanort.

Well not fix, but help.

In DiZ’s reports he reveals that after enough time in the RoD he gained powers like the use of Dark Corridors. He could’ve easily just pulled Riku through one of those.

Oh.

I'm laughing at myself.

Also DiZ was using Riku for revenge at first.

Yeah he only saw Riku and Sora as instruments of his revenge against his former apprentices. It wasn’t until he saw Riku-Ansem that he started to slowly have a change of heart.

And Naminé

I object.

He asked of riku to dispose of Naminé and Axel.

At that point he still saw Nobodies as heartless monsters that shouldn’t exist.

It was towards the end of Kh2 ig.

And if they weren't sentient (like Dusks), technically he wouldn't even be wrong

I think his reports reveal when exactly his attitudes about certain things start changing, but I don’t have them memorized.
