Level design in kh2 isn’t great, but It makes sense for the more combat focused gameplay

KH3 is great for me

the fun eastereggs to find and collectables everywhere

anyways, KH1 sweeps, best level design in any KH game no cap

For me I always preferred Disney worlds in quantity over quality

Like the way I see it, the more Disney worlds in the game, the more characters Sora gets to meet within one installment

idk KH2 just has the worst level design in any KH game
I would even go as far to say that CoM has better level design

one CoM room has more and better level design then a KH2 world

2's primary issue is the fact that you have nothing to do outside of running

I still think it’s less bad level design and more so a different focus on design

it's kinda boring

it just so happens to be a worse focus on design

Instead of the more closed room combat kh1 had, things were opened up to give the camera space

Instead of treasure chests being super hidden, areas are designed for minigames and other events

too much focus was set on the combat and not enough focus on the worlds and levels

which is why I think KH2 is a low tier KH game

I’d take this over CoM having square rooms tho
