a lot of people dont know what KH2 Vanilla was like

which ho boy, it was rough indeed

no dodge roll, cutscene roxas, no data fights, no crit

oh yeah, i still remember getting it and playing it in 06

it was just slightly different in how you make it

kh2 vanilla is like kh3 vanilla in many ways

not in terms of story

but in terms of content

i watched it, good points all around

I wouldnt say that, kh2 has like a million mini games

but in terms of super bosses, youve got sephiroth and thats it

sephiroth and the paradox cups at best

Where 2fm fixed 2's base game, some people argue that remind did not fix 3's base game

battle gates were a poor mans olympus coliseum cups

it kinda did Plan?

but not as much as 2FM fixed things

3RM was for sure all post game and end game stuff

I believe that 3's bosses were more bearable after the new abilities

at least we got that super hard fight against all 4 ff characters at once

exactly, its much more of a dlc than an expansion pack

usually it's easier to include the update with RM

yeah the free abilities patch was absolutley a plus

kh3 base combo is probably the worst combo in the series

like with finishers and such?

oh yeah good video Oluvids! i liked your overall analysis and points you brought up

yeah vanilla 3, has like 2 combo modifiers which are both pretty meh, and the finisher is slow with little to no impact

I recently played through 2fm on crit for the 1st time. I didn't really like that reflect was my only option of defeating the absent silhouettes

But that's just my experience

KH1 vanilla was kinda like that too

KH1FM added a few more

i mean reflect isnt required actually, it just makes it alot easier

kh1 was kinda different in that its physical combat was not the main focus and the bigger focus was magic

Ripple Drive was so cool, espeically since it scaled to your magic stat

it makes no sense in fm when sora can use ripple drive on destiny island

lol

everyone else is using wooden sticks, jump ropes, and blitz balls. then sora comes in with a giant magic orb of death

if you level up enough Daz, you can get Ripple Drive on Destiny Islands

that move was also super cool
