Khux by its self isn't terrible but compared to the other kh games, it's absolute shit imo

I think it just suffers from its nature as a gacha, constantly breaking its own balance and meta just so players keep buying stuff

3D is SIGNIFICANTLY worse in gameplay.

the level up system and commands are really fun in ReCoded

3D has scratch damage, forced pets that you rely on for your abilities...

3D took the worst parts of BBS and doubled down.

And I like BBS but I could never defend its gameplay.

The only reason I don't have it down with days gameplay is I'm one of the few people who actually liked the story for 3D.

Eh it was amusing and I though the time travel was actually explained fairly tightly.

True but coded is more about the gameplay anyway really. It took the better parts from days grid system and made it actually interesting. Also risk/reward difficulty system.

harder you make the game the more it multiplies rewards.

Plus the sheer variety with the sidescrolling section, the traditional turn based RPG section....

They actually took risks and innovated a bit.

Oh I'd still say play it for the story and to not be lost in 3.

Hmmm maybe but I'd recommend it for the gameplay, which is honestly one of the most important parts of a game. Is it fun to play.
