Kingdom Hearts fans are the only fandom in the world that I've experienced that care THIS much about preservation, preservation about every little piece of information regarding development lol

bc i really think this original version should be preserved even if ds version already exists
think about it. final fantasy 7 remake exists but you would want to preserve the original game if it disappeared right?

ds game is a remake. even has RE on the title

The FF7 remake is so different, it may as well be a different game. There’s a point to preserving that. There’s no point to preserving a version identical to the DS version.

If there was content exclusive to the original coded, that would be one thing. But everything that could be taken from coded can already be found in recoded and the movie

what makes it so identical? does ds use sprites? same hud? same camera?

KH fans will go above and beyond to be entitled for information regarding the series history and CLAIM they deserve to have it preserved, yet they do nothing about it
