KH4 will just be Sora in therapy for a year until Riku reaches Quadratum and then the game really starts.

I don’t know why Sora is the only character who does not have a slow music box style version of his theme in KH2, when nearly every other KH character does

It could play when he is falling in a deep sleep or when he is sad

Therapy doesn’t come cheap either

If Sora were these things, this is what he would be:

Kairi doesn’t have to be a warrior like the others, but she needs to actually participate in the story more than just being an off-screen influence

She’s like a carrot being being perpetually being dangled from a rope in front of Sora. Cut the rope, let her grow her own legs to stand on.

Giver her the same autonomy and freedom Riku has enjoyed for multiple games now.
