To be fair, neither did Roxas

And I'm not saying "Oh Xemnas was Terra and its A RETCON"

Every single other nobody had them be the same exact person they were before death

I'm saying there was a basis for a connection to be established

Roxas just looks and sounds like ventus

Between the two

Roxas on the other hand was completely different from both Ven and Sora

And it would have been interesting

Xemnas doesn't look exactly or sound like anyone else

Aqua armor scene.. rage and hatred

Etc..

Xemnas still kept Terra's look

I still think Xemnas looks like that because of him being created by two people

Xehanort and Terra

I would expect him to look like terranort then

His experiences, his feelings, and his thoughts..

He looks a bit like apprentice Xehanort

And the voice I guess he got lucky

And he doesn’t even remember most of it.. only fragments, pieces

Like I said I'm not saying "He is TERRA AND NOMURA'S A HACK" I'm saying there could have been a lot more done with the character

Xemnas inherited only the deepest vocal cords

The only weird thing about Ansem is that he is a heartless who can talk. Otherwise he makes complete sense

I just put that down to being a super powerful heartless

We'll put him down to early instalment weirdness

I just wish more was done to compound on it

And we could definitely say parts of Xehanort’s desires and wishes were there(what with naming the others and other little things), but I felt it before and I still feel it now.. Terra still makes up most of Xemnas, the opposite true for Ansem, though.
