combat system is just not for everyone. The story is a banger though

After they revealed in UX that Marly's sister got killed by Ven I was so convinced for a certain time that Marly's actual reason for being in castle oblivion was to find Ven and kill him

and that the reason why he joined the org was to make it easier for him to find Ven. And then SE gave us the cutest scene ever

For me it’s the map system. In the later worlds it can take firetrucking AGES to get the map card you need! It’s just so pointlessly irritating!

Did Xemnas even tell the other Org members minus Xiggy that he thought Ven was in CO? Heck did Xiggy learn that himself by spying or from Xemnas directly?

Cos Xemnas didn't even know for sure he was there.

Heck how did he even come to think anyone was in there since there was no one around to witness Aqus putting Ven into CO or learn the name of the chamber.

even if it's something related to their memories. Both Xehanort and Terra didn't know about Ven I believe

I'm guessing that Xehanort knew about the secret of the Land of Departure and when Aqua told Terra that she hid him well, then he determined where Ven was. Also Xehanort can track all of them via the Recusant's Sigil

We dunno if they actually have the sigil on them in BBS or post though its possible due to the X but if Nort knows the secret he should know he can't unlock the CO cos only the one who made it can do it so he should know seraching for Ven is pointless.

Also it wouldn't explain why Xemnas doesn't know it already since he retained some of Nort's memories at least including knowledge of Nort's X-blade obsession and its implied his ability to/ use the keyblade

If I compare it’s gameplay to other KH games

Attractions are the same no matter where they appear
RCs are unique per enemy, and require... timing 😱
attractions are way too forgiving and way too frequent
