In fact I read somewhere Britain and Japan have similar levels of voice acting experience

Well, older British actors often do radio dramas so they're used to voice acting

David Selby is an American actor, and excellently does his Quentin Collins just as he did back in the late 60's. Voice acting is an underappreciated skill, as VAs need to convey things through just their voice. An amazing performance can really lift the piece, while bad or bland voice acting can really bring it down (Aerith in KH2 for example, where it sounds like the voice actress is phoning it in).

So, I'd just prefer for them to give sora a more mature sound
