I honestly see nothing wrong with comparing the main campaign of 2fm to 3

There's a lot wrong with it

since 3 and 2 had pretty much the same development time

Nah, I don't think so. I think it's perfectly reasonable to expect a game built in 2019 to build up from a game made in 2007

It did in some ways,but it bought its own issues,too.. just like KH2 was different in KH1 in some ways,was also better in some ways,but suffered with its own issues also

Well yeah I was thinking the game would've been an improvment of the formula, but its really just- different

That's why it's not so simple

KH2 built on from KH1 a lot

It's difficult to go back to 1s combat

Because 2s is so much more fluid and better

And KH3 had 5 other games between it and 2, which means it had to try to incorporate elements of each into its formula.

KH3 took a left turn instead of going on down the road

Its really because the team is the same as the handhelds

It did. And KH3 built from from KH2. But in both respects,the two,while having their improvements...

I dont think many ppl would have complained if elements from BBS and DDD weren't in 3

They bought their own issues along with it too

Mmmhhh.. you say that,but.. we literally have franchises that constnatly bring out new mechanics,just to never use them again.

That gets really old,real fast

I think is the same team that made 2 was working on 3, we would've seen a similar style to 2 in terms of combat than the more flashy combat that we got in 3

They've been in a constant state of experimentation since 2009

It sucks

Even KH3 was experimental

They are clearly improving but go for more flashy finishers than focusing on combos

Nomura has just completely forgotten how to write an ending

Every single ending since Days has been with the intention of hook

KH3 is no exception and that makes me sad
