Like there is some DDD apologists out there in this post-kh3 world sure but for the most part, it’s not suddenly getting any widespread passes for what people didn’t like about it, the same way it’s always been

Maybe the disrespect will grow, but if the next is truly a better one in terms of narrative and overall design I think the positive sentiment around it will cause KH3 discussion to be less, erm, polarizing.
