if people had expectations, it's only cos previous games reached those heights

You can say the things 3D didn't do Quid, but I can just as easily say the things it did do

I just don’t like seeing people get angry because what fanfiction they wrote in their mind years ago didn’t end up coming true

Now there are plenty of valid reasons to be disappointed in 3

That’s not one of them tbh

DDD be out there locking KH3's third act into a pre-determined sequence of events that must be executed in the way they were set up without much wiggle room

There is a level of unrealistic expectations that people can reach, but from what I can tell, most people DONT, and the game that they would’ve wanted to see was possible to be made

I only became a KH fan in late 2017

Try mid 2019 buddy

I was only part of the hype train for 1 and a half years

KH3 was already out when I started KH1

I binged the whole series through the PS4 collections

Started 1 in March and finished 3 in early May

I didn't even finish my binge because I didn't complete DDD

i was part of it since 2010. All i expected from KH3 was twilight town and radiant garden explorable, i didn't think anyhting else would get a look in, and the HBRC.
What I WANTED was Vaan and Treasure planet, preferably together. I didn't expect that

you will never convince me these are unreasonable

DDD took me about a week, only thing I didn’t like was how abilities were locked behind dream eaters

Vaan is a bit, almost all FF characters in KH are designed by Nomura. there are like 2 that aren't.

That was one of my main complaints regarding DDD

The other one being the firetrucking garbage bosses

Treasure Planet is also a not-so successful movie, so the chances of that one appearing is insanely low after all these years

There are wants, and there are justifiable expectations, and for a lot of people they couldn’t meet either

Vaan is nomuras favourite character

I just gritted my teeth and dealt with it because I’m like “I finished RECOM I’m committing to this goddamnit”

as for TP, roy conli had two movies featured in KH3 plus DDD had scrapped TP assets

All I wanted was for the game to have a compelling narrative

also KH3 has TP easter eggs
