I wouldn't say it's even in the top 3 best KH stories

I dont think it's fair on old games to say they weren't the best retroactively when for their time the graphics and gameplay were pretty top notch

it's the best retelling of like a classical tale, it has a lot of themes that are well done

But when it comes to KH2

Honestly, if I go to KH1 for story then I'd go for KH2 for gameplay

In terms of

CoM has some of the best pacing and tension

I don't disagree that it's a solid game but I wouldn't place it any higher than KH
