All good lol

Having played many other JPRGs now, I'm with you Sam
If I want something from an RPG, there is probably one out there that gives me what I want
Like turn based or easier lore or what not

However KH is KH to me, I'm always glad to take what it gives me

And because of this mentality, I've found that I'll never really be happy judging KH on what I want it to be. It isn't really fair anyway, because the chance of any given game meeting everything you want it to be is incredibly slim if not impossible.

Ex: The Alliance Alive HD, Bravely Default, Tales, Trails

It's really not

It's an open bag most of the time
And you can see it with All the games in the series now with just how varied things get

card games, to mario party to platformer to rhythm game and everything in between

Basically, the lesson to take away from this is don't have expectations. You will always end up disappointed.

Yeah that's a better way of putting it

KH2FM may have had some really tight combat, but it lost in world details and other aspects
KH3RM tried to be a mix which worked and didn't work all the same
And the ye in between

Haha veterans of this server are sick of me saying it but
I honestly just want more KH
I don't really mind what it is, I just want more of the series

And if the series were to ever close its book, I wouldn't be that sad

That's how I feel. Because KH is one of the most ambitous series I've ever played and the genre of JRPGs would lose a lot without its existence.

In fact, that's something I've always appreciated about Nomura: he respects the fans but is rarely afraid to take risks

I mean...I've never felt particularly betrayed. At the end of the day, KH is still KH.

Confused? Yes. Annyod? Very much yes. But never betrayed.

Hey guys, the Keybearer's Aliiance are having their digital Gathering on Twitch

You guys should come. We have Hayner

I’m not sure what of the KH fanbase Tetsuya ever sees

He apparently didn’t see any of the fans who like the FF characters

and Young Xehanort will be dropping by in a few minutes

> He apparently didn’t see any of the fans who like the FF characters
@Harveywallbanger Nomura does not need to obey our every whim. That's not what it means to be a fan. Being a fan simply means saying, "I approve of what you're doing and I want to see more."

Conversely, being a creator means being honest and open with your fans about what's going on. Being clear about the direction of the series as long it stays relatively close to whatever people want. And I feel Nomura has done reasonably well with this.

I've never gotten the impression of him trying to mislead, misinform, or deceive me into buying something I otherwise wouldn't be interested in.

No. He just needs to not be the worst

Does misleading people into thinking a satisfying conclusion to a story will be presented count?

Heck, everything involving Kairi feels like trolling

> Does misleading people into thinking a satisfying conclusion to a story will be presented count?
@Harveywallbanger this was never promised; only the end to this particular saga. I mean, did you really think KH3 would be the end? REALLY???

No. I thought at least one piece of it would be satisfying

That's an incredibly subjective argument to make

No, it’s my opinion, therefore objective and factually correct

Ah yes. How could I not see that.

the more you say that, the more I feel like people care less of your opinions. But maybe that's just me

...I wasn't going to say as much, but I'm inclined to agree with Cole
