how awesum would it be if vanitas returned in kh3 sora gets to fight him and everything however i know vanitas is gone for good but what about vanitas remnant he can work side by side with MF and their the main target inm kh3 that would be cool cuz hes my faveorite character and it sux hes only in bbs. :(

It wouldn't be cool.

I think that would be very cool and hey you never know, SE could make Vanitas a part of the story again somehow.

Vanitas basically has to return for Ven to awaken. He is half of Ven's heart. Even if he wasn't part of him in BBS, he was still present. So their only hope of awakening Ven would have to be to get Vanitas back and somehow fuse him back with Ven's heart.

I don't think they would've made an evil Sora figure just so that they never meet. Odds are, he's gonna come back, and it's gonna be epic ^-^

i like this person's attitude.

Basically what Terranort said.

And because of fanservice.

I dont think he will return he is a part of Ventus now

Oh and Vanitas remnant he is just some secret boss that dont fit in the story

and what? does Mysterious Figure not fit into the story?

Why the hell will MX need a spirit to help him?

and MF does not fit in the story yet, but everybody know he will

Honestly, what kind of a question is that? I don't mean that to be mean, I am just wondering because that would be really hard to do. After all, it would require that there be a master to extract the darkness inside of Ven's heart when he awakens and that darkness would have to become sentinent and then... it would just be too difficult to do in another game

Hey, if a character gets enough positive feedback, then fanservice dictates that they have to come back in some capacity or another.

And Vanitas was a total badass.

However, for the sake of sanity, I don't think he should appear as anything more than a mention or a flashback (and maybe a bossfight, but as like a shadow or something).

Bringing him back would mean you'd have Heartless, Nobodies AND Unversed running around. It would add diversity certainly..... wait, why is having three different enemies a bad thing?

Reasons for him to return:

-He has a connection to the MF through his spirit

a. almost identical keyblade shape to no name

b. the names of no name and void gear both have a convey the meaning of lacking of

c. both are secret bosses

d. gears and watches work with each other

e. Master Xehanort is to Vanitas as mysterious figure is to Vanitas' remnant (to some extent)

-He has a connection with Riku

a. more or less the not so backed up idea of the suit

b. the evil eye on the keyblade

c. in the opening movie Ven's tower breaks when the kingdom key and soul eater fly into it; therefore symbolizing Ven and Vanitas breaking it. When it is broken a sleeping Ven is falling as well as the two keyblades (the bi-product of this event) because they are going to Sora and Riku. So Sora is to Ventus as Riku is to Vanitas

-He has a connection with Ven

a. he is the dark half of his heart

b. with Ven being asleep still a complication could be made involving Vanitas

a. Vanitas is badass

b. judging from the amount of people who like is character...

c. what else needs to be said

So yes he will return.

Nomura manages to bring characters back somehow, even in a different form. Example; Ansem SOD came back as Xemnas and as Xehanort. So.. yeah. When you think about it, Vanitas is most likely to return. Plus, he's linked to many characters.

So he's most likely going to be in a future KH game.

I agree with this guy here!

I would love it. To me, he was the best antagonist of the series, even though he was only in 1 game. He could return when

Master Xehanort returns

then that would be awesome :D
