Luke doing what he was doing made sense, and tbh the idea that the lightside was the jedi in the last jedi makes me upset

because everything the jedi were and did was for the betterment of the galaxy

so when the last jedi has ghost yoda light the tree on fire with all the ancient jedi knowledge in it, it makes me mad that the writers basically say in the film "history isnt important, just do what you want."
