But then again how could you fault people for believing something that came from the company themselves?

Because I wasn't acquainted with the infamous company known as Square Enix.

I figured they were stretching it slightly, that it would be 30 something

I mean, I just used common sense back then.

Yeah, I assumed it would be around in line with all the other games

So I don't trust midgar is 40 hours long

I mean, this was way too many months before release, so they probably compacted all the files properly by release

So it most likely was big but got smaller later on

And if the 40 hours is for full exploration then that's even worse

I am expecting the same of FF7R

Yeah, if you look at old kh3 press release material, it's vastly different

Some people were even theorizing that KH3 would have to use 3 discs

I think both are true, in size and time wise don't expect FF7R to be as big as they say

I remember a convo back in the r/KingdomHearts server where we spent a stupid long amount of time discussing how much space a Blue-Ray could hold
