ah I feel dumb

ah.. but right, let's say you look at a NES or PS1 game.. you'll notice a lot of them were noiser than rpgs that try to emulate that classic feel

A lot of those noises came from ineherent parts of the hardware they were on themselves

Actually, yeah, there was always a lot of like, ambience

But games nowadays won't capture those same noises that were apart of the experience

the girl communicates in necklace jingles lol

Not so much now

Man, I'm kinda excited now

but those noises, those little things, those came from flaws within the hardware

but aahhh, enough about game design,lol..

I could go on and on about it

lol it was charming tho

I feel like a lot of modern games are all about spectacle and style over substance

Square cgi has felt more anime as time progresses lol
