The thing about 7’s linearity is that the linearity is better disguised

I will be slightly bothered if the KH battle designers were poached for FF7R

There would have been nothing wrong with a HD turn based game

I’d love to see FF7 realized in that same fashion

I'm not saying it can't be done well, I do prefer hack and slash, I find it more adrenaline pumping

judging by the gameplay in latest trailer the combat will be FFXV-esque

boring and stale

But there was nothing fundamentally wrong with FF7R being turn based, and if all the best battle planners were stolen from other games just to make it shine?

I'm glad for FF7R but I'm sad for KH3

I would ideally have liked both games to be pinnacles

It’s a cross of some sort between FFXV + KH + Dissidia(Cloud’s charge that he does in the trailer is just like his charge in Dissidia)

FF7R looks cool

but it needs to be cool for gameplay

and not 3 standard attacks with some magic here and there
