Oh nice! So it’s like only one card related to the movie and the others are just normal official game cards?

@Mupstun so I saw it now

Oh man, I enjoyed the hell outta that

rightttt??

i was not expecting that change in plot lmfao

it def took a left turn xD@Otti#8624

i've seen some people complaining about it. but i actually really liked it! sure it was a typical evil villain vibe and quite easy to take down! but.. it's a child's movie and it's pokemon haha

giovani was never this supreme villain genius xD

it was fun!

It was definitely predictable, you basically knew who the bad guy is the moment he is introduced

But that's not a bad thing

The movie set out what it needed to do

And did it without any hiccups

And I firetrucking love that this Mewtwo existed for like 20 years

And it wasn't just created and a complete newborn

And kinda confirmed that this movie takes place in the anime/games

My biggest gripe with this movie has to be the actors

Most of them were...not that good

Ryan Reynolds basically carried the whole movie

oh yea i felt the exact same way lmfao! the humans were not great.. i wanted to FFWD the grieving emo scenes and get to more pokemon stuff haha

and i knew Bill Nighy was going to be the villain.. but i will admit i did NOT see him merging with mewtwo coming xD

and that girl that was with him was real bad...

lol

like i felt like they were trying to make her seem like the cheesy old detective movie type

but then i thought it was just her cheesy acting lol

Hahaha

They did a decent job at least, so that's good

I really hope this turns into a Pokemon universe tho

There is so much you could do in a world like this

Like, Pokemon Rangers is a thing they could explore in a live action movie

for real! like i felt the world was vast and super lively!

it was so good! i was mesmerized by how full of life the entire movie was! i would love to see more of that!

Yesss

And I just love that the comedy is Pokemon related

They really nailed that aspect

And so many Easter eggs

And Ryan Reynolds singing the Pokemon theme song is the absolute best

like that opening scene with all the pidgeottos flying around was great! i felt like a kid again haha

oh yea man it was great!

ryan singing was soooo good

lol

also they had Red battling that was great! and they even made him asian because Kanto is supposed to basically be japan so it makes sense!

it was SO strange hearing Ryan actually just casually saying pokemon names xD

oh it was a small clip earlier in the movie where they were showcasing the city

like when they were on the train i think

Oooh, they were showing off the dome and the battle there

WAIT, THAT WAS RED?
