I can't say anything on Odyssey as I have literally 0 interest in it

But on Origins, all of the stuff about being the first assassins came at the end of the game

And even then, the build up for it was never there

Well yeah.. I didn't expect to be the assassin immediately

It was like they wanted to make a game like this and then tacked on the assassin part at the end because of the franchise
