God of War went semi-open world while telling a story the franchise has never done

ill be around for nintendo though

Horizon went open world with robot animals

Ehhhh.. if you play the other ones, they have a cinematic feel too.. Ratchet & Clank, God of War, Spider-Man..

If by cinematic you mean realistic graphics? Then yeah, that's what they did

When I say cinematic, I don't mean a strict start to finish

There's definitely a style of it that they go for, either purposefully or not

Ratchet and Clank being the most cinematic because it is basically the movie
