The characters are barely characters to begin what and feel like walking expositioning robots so it's hard to actually want them to enter relationships with each other

I think this is where the other media steps in tbh

I mean, manga Roxas x Xion was kinda cute

It's much easier to see ships occurring when you're at sea read the in game reports or novels/manga

But at the same time it's creepy to ship them because they're so young and Xion comes off as very, very childish

It's nice, and Tomoco Kanemaki must be rehired as Co writer

That was an important letter

But overall I don't think the series supports romance at all and that's blatant from how Sokai often feels forced, and that's arguably the best ship since it's the most supported by the canon

I think KH1 did it the best tbh

I mena again, I don't think kh2 particularly dropped the ball either

KH1 was tongue and cheek and portrayed their love as cute and adorable imo

It had symbolism and substance

Meanwhile in KH2 they don't interact enough, and SoRiku steals the spotlight

Whereas now we get a lot of cute moments like in the cgi but there's nothing to really back that

And in KH3 their dialogue feels stilted and forced to an extent

The Paopu sharing cutscene is so awkward to me for some reason
