they also had xigbar mention that he considers ventus his "friend" as well

which is why he was really searching for him

in castle oblivion

yeah but he isnt in kh3

I disagree a lot

xemnas is treated like his own person completely in kh3

There was a lot of context around that scene

which goes against alot of his complexity in kh2

Zexion, Vexen and Xigbar all conversing etc

he also mentions that "hes whats left, or maybe hes all there ever was"

alluding to the idea that this mightve been him since the start, hes not sure of his past anymore

i mean thats gotta be it

heres my theory, They didnt want terranort stepping on xemnas toes at all so they retconned xemnas' connection with terra
