So far my favorite parts of re:mind are the playable characters, explorable Scala, the Guardians of Light vs Xehanort and the Story adding more to the original plot making it feel more complete.

In Kh2, xemnas only brings up the question to prose to them why they fear it, and if they dont, why the fear the nobodies, who were basically abandoned and left to fade into nonexistence, and they say its because they mess up our worlds, which they do

Xehanort was basically believing in a blind philosophy. In a world where darkness is often behind the bad things that happen Xehanort wants balance. To that end he is willing to destroy the world and start anew. There is no actual reason to it beyond "we need balance because that's how it's supposed to be".

but back in that game, yes they are using the heartless, but for most of the game, they activley want sora to kill the heartless

their goal is sora to do that

Meanwhile Eraqus was actually trying to prevent the end of the world and even if his methods were morally unjustifiable, his method at least made sense.

Kill Ventus: end of the world is averted

kh2 has the best motivation for a villain in this series and master of masters is probably gonna not be as good

Destroy everything in order to begin anew with a balance between light and darkness: who the firetruck knows

the only reason pureblood heartless attack people is because their instincts drive them to

they live in a world of darkness

thats all they know

because of xehanorts actions, he allowed them to break into the realm of light in swarms

That's what we're told but that's not what we see, Slash

the realm of light and darkness are a perfect dichotamy, where niether are meant to cross into one another

but they do because of xehanort

Light never made anyone succumb to their good thoughts and transform into a monster of light then turn other people into monsters of light like a plague

yes but when you think about it to a heartless, a human is a monster

Heartless barely have any thinking capabilities anyway

artificial heartless are the ones made from people

Ansem is the only heartless we see who remains with a conscience

Heartless are the plague who consume others, humans just fight to survive

but its not like heartless kill each other

Diseases don't cancel themselves either

they just sort of live in the realm of darkness on their own as long as no one bothers them

That's fine

granted they cant think

However they are still a plague when unleashed on the RoL

And plagues must be exterminated upset

i mean if you think about it, if an army of keyblade wielders went into the realm of darkness, theyd be killing all the pureblood heartless

of course the heartless would defend themselves then too

its also possible for a heartless to not fight back

like sora

Doubt it

My phone doesn't want to charge for some reason quack

Guess it's reached the end of its life
