I think the only time a game being so good makes you dislike it is when it hogs all the attention of the series it belongs to to itself

perfection is something that comes down to the viewer when it comes to a form of media

but is that the games fault or everything elses' fault

so good its bad might be one of those things that is a subjective concept

maybe, something so good its bad would be something that is really good in a series of things that are good

but they all perform at the same level of good so the expectations for it led it to be bad

You can say The Room is a so bad it's good movie, but that doesn't mean everyone will agree on it
