But when Cloud and Barret needed something different, they really brought it

And maybe it's a more technical term but the original voice actors couldn't have been fired from the Remake if they were never hired in the first place to do voices for it unless they were

I only say this because I clicked on a random endgame video and aeriths voice really stood out in a bad way to me

The difference between the act he puts as Avalanche and when he talks to Marlene is really different

But after watching the whole thing from start to finish it felt better

barrets voice is perfect

Don't you dare try to change his voice from the Remake one

I was a bit iffy when I heard Barret in the trailers

But the game changed my mind completely

Well they did hire some of the original vocie actors for the first few trailers

Also I don't like this, I think it's pretty scummy to just play fast and loose with character VAs, especially considering every va had done it for over 10 years

Maybe who knows how The Originals could have been with some Direction but I vastly prefer this game has with these actors then what they have done with Advent Children and all their stuff with those voices

I mean sure, that's your opinion

But I'd rather they have been asked first and given the chance to refuse rather than be treated like crap, just from an ethics pov

Also honestly, Steve Burton being bad feels like a meme at this point

It's a similar situation to snake I think David Hayter I think it was

He got to play teen cloud in crisis core
