Glad to see you enjoyed it! Who did you get in chapter 14 when going outside the house at night with Cloud?

Personally, I'm very even on it. To me, it depends on what future games will do. Right now I'm not especially hopeful or worried, just cautious

How accurate is this claim?

But there's also a chance a fan won't enjoy it due to how limited it is in the overall story from the original

They added a bunch of stuff, but nothing that changes from the original

I do think new people will enjoy this more. Their expectations would (most likely) be more tempered than a fan of the game

Is that tons and tons of old fans have so many unconcious head canons and beliefs that are sort of broken by this remake

Yeahhh, the original release also had terrible translation

So if you didn't play one with something better, what you thought you liked might not even be here

The original was also super weird with its pacing

Like in the 10 hours i played, we left midgar but nothing felt truly at stakes

I think you will like this more then

It's amplified a hell of a lot more

Desktop Reddit sucks so much

switch www with ss

Makes it so much better

The "Continue Comment Thread" option actually takes me out of the thread altogether

Yeaaah

The new reddit is horrible

Just do what I said and it's a lot better

On the pacing, it's a lot better here

New Reddit's design isn't even that bad, it just doesn't firetrucking work half the time

You get to know each character a lot more and you spend time with them

And endgame-ish you get to play as them solo temporarily which I liked a lot

Like there's an instance where you play as Barret trying to look for Cloud, Tifa and Barret

Which was pretty great

Or Aerith trying to look for someone while the whole place is in chaos

Honestly

The game feels like more of an on the rails narrative than a JRPG

The more I hear about it

It is

I mean, there are RPG elements in it

But it's definitely on the rails

don't read the comments below reviews... my iq dropped just by reading them

laughsinnomura

I never do

Those are always bad

No matter what game
