I actually want to do a fresh new run with this new knowledge

For now though I started up the original

it took me about 37 hours

Oh I saw that dialogue on the side of my screen, but I didn't hear it. I didn't know npcs were actually there

man i'm in love with the dialogue and general interaction in this game
from my time playing the original, I didn't really feel any personality from any of the characters. Might've been the translation idk. The areas in the remake all have their own very distinct, unique atmosphere as well which is pretty incredible. Unlike most other FFs I've played honestly
none of the areas in the original really had any ambiance to me, this is such a massive step up

exceedingly happy I got the remake honestly. I thought disliking the original would make me not enjoy the remake but it's the complete opposite so far

to be completely honest, of all the FFs I've played, the original 7 is by far the one I dislike the most

7R feels fundamentally different in tone, interaction and everything

nothing like the original at all

I'm playing the original right now I have to go after beating that remake and then I want to replay the remake with context now
