ending makes it som ething entirely new now its not just a remake which is ok im for it but the multi series remix that we were promised doesn't seem to be a thing anymore it's still very much could be but it doesn't feel like it

 

those are HD remasters which a tiny bit of changed content.

that wasabi, is a 2020 modern day shocking event
unlike in 1997 where just doing that alone was shocking

see the other thing is that storytelling is not the same as it was 20 years ago. it has gotten incredibly complex

so you get torn between this original story playing out in your head and this new telling of it right in front of you which causes conflict

under the assumption you knew the original ofc
