Honestly what turned me off from Chrono Trigger was the top-down perspective

the best ones are still great, but the flaws of the rest stand out a lot more

I think it's just me being old

But the perspective was confusing for me

chrono trigger is from an age when we were looking for new combat systems to look interesting and distinct

whether or not they had any actual depth was left to the side

only whether they were distinguishable

Cause I don't get it

the combat in cross has a lot of mechanical depth to it, it's quite a lot of fun

and the ridiculous branching paths structure makes replaying it actually interesting

because getting all characters without a guide is basically impossible unless you are a gamer god

It confuses me

He's saying the og ff7 was one of the most returned games

the telegraph is a hack newspaper anyway
