I really like Barret in the remake compared to the original. The remake has an overall better presentation of why the people of avalanche are following him. I think the dialogue and overall cutscenes contribute to this a lot as well imo

Playing the og now and Wedge is just an ass in it, Jesse doesn't really do much except ask how the bomb was so big and Wedge has a bit more to him. Also their motivation is money in this one compared to the remake where they do want to save the planet
