Cloud only gets a "flash" when Aerith asks what Soldier rank he is, he then asks her what her boyfriends name is but she doesn't say

Then Tifa comes in on the carriage

I'm listening to "let's fight a boss podcast" I like a lot of their takes

But their take on ffvii R leaves me perplexed

They love RPGs though

that's the tendency of them to have female characters that people waifu for various reasons

None of them are waifus

I mean

I mean, they definitely are

But their characters are well written

They are three dimensional too

On top of being waifus

They have their own agencies

it'd be hard to NOT waifu them

Who they are, their goals, actual personalities, quirks and so on

They are miles ahead most female characters written by Japanese people

But while I listened to it it also makes me wonder why do I feel insulted when stuff I like get criticized

It's a feeling of you wanting more people to like stuff you like

And when you hear someone who doesn't, it doesn't feel great

It's hard to have an open mind I guess cuz this game made feel for these characters so hard
