Im replayign the OG and u can get by the whole game with ennemy materia alone

as for FFXV... I objectively spent more hours on it than VII R but the gameplay lacks the depth, becuz u heal thru most damage with elixirs and it never felt like it offered more than what was initially shown

I mean I beat 15 like 20 times and that's counting the DLC in comrades each run so I had my fair share of 15 but I wouldn't say the combats deep

theres a little tint bit more to it then just holding circle but not much

i honestly don't remember 15 combat at all lol

i last played 15 when it released

Think type-0 but flashy

i'd assume the various patches and shit helped enhance it somewhat

especially the swappable characters

15 is a much better game now and with dlc has the 2nd half fixed

only issue is its like 120 gb to have everything

maybe if it's free one day i'll play it

i'd probably respect and enjoy 15 a lot more if my first experience with it was after all of the DLC and patches for it came out.

While it does spoil everything about the villain xv is about the brotherhood then anything, ep arydn introsdices you well into the world and lets you run around insomina as a bombastic ff intro

playing 15 day one was an awful experience and a truly bad mistake on my part

The game basically quite literally continued development for 2 years after release

i remember being so hyped for 15

god i was so excited

i mean

15 is my fav top 5 ffs now

and when it came, i legit yeeted all schoolwork for like a week

ah

but launch 15 oof

of all the FFs I've played, 15 is by far my least favorite. It rivals 2 for the worst FF I've played for sure

The only really annoying thing is the Royal Edition DLC makes it so you can not get the off-road car until you or like halfway through the game about to exit the open-world section

I think you get royal edition for “free” now

there is another open world section with prompto in chap 12 id reccomend playing
