Accurate LOL

So I went back and watched the extra character fights from remind and there is so much potential for Riku and Kairi.

Also, comparing the Kairi gameplay to her mini fight in MoM, she actually does some of her moves from her remind fight

More specifically, her first two attacks in her remind fight are used as well as I believe an interpretation of her dash.

I'd have to study it a bit more cuz I'm curious how much they took from that fight

This is spoilers so whoever hasn’t finished the game don’t read. What annoys me is that they went out of their way to create KH 3 versions of Sora and Kairi but I’m KH 2 versions, rather than use the actual KH 3 unreal engine models.

The whole game would’ve been a lot more interesting in Unreal engine.

Hmmm ya think? Unity was the right choice for a rhythm game like this which doesn't need high end graphics

remember the models and scenes aren't the main attraction point here

the alternative would have meant they'd need to recreate assests from near every world from the games pre-KH3. Also idk if the Switch would be ok with that

pre rendered scenes work out fine
having to render UE4 on the switch would be really hard

and would probably fry it haha

Still, I wanted to see Roxas again T_T

Such a shame that alot of these characters that were made in Remind might not ever get to see the playable light of day again.

The next game better be one of those games where Roxas is one of the main playable characters.

I don't give a shit what people say, he needs the spotlight.

I doubt it, he doesn't have really any purpose right now and the focus is really on Kairi and Riku

Still, I would be happy if he atleast is a part of the game.

Well the next game will probably take 2-3 years so we will probably get a side story where we see every side characters story before coming back to Riku.

Lea (and Isa) has that Subject X plot going on, Ventus has the UX stuff going on, but the rest from those two trios have nothing rn. I guess Aqua is training Kairi now but idk if that'll actually mean anything besides taking Kairi out of the game yet again

Taking Kairi out is for the best.

She gets kidnapped in basically every game.
