The most cynical but also somewhat realistic expectation I've seen is that the kairi scenes are just an ending portion

I’m boutta cry if I gotta play 20 hours of a rhythm game with no story besides beginning and end

As much as I love rhythm games, the way they're doing this is pretty egregious from what we saw of so far at least

I mean. Some of the worlds had a movie symbol like it had cutscenes???

Rhythm games are also not long either if you just play every song once. So assuming that, this'll also be a short title

Maybe 15-20 hours at most is my guess

By the looks of it cutscenes will start in their own sections in reals
Doubt it will be anything crazy to unlock them

Honestly though I’ve been saying I expect the next game to be on switch and also the consoles

I just expected it to be downgraded a bit on switch

By the looks of it the game is easily made, not much effort put into it
Which is why they didn't even bother putting it on the newer consoles

Honestly they could’ve just created the cutscenes and slotted them into the next game or made something out of it online but like hey let’s get money outta it and involve music somehow?
