used mods that made it bearable

And had a trashfire start.

as much shit as it got on launch, deservedly, it also became one of the best inprovement stories alongside xiv

xv did improve but like, not nearly as much

the game where the barreIs were equaI in poIy count to the environment

14 had such a bad launch they ended up literally making an in universe apocalyptic event and basically starting over.

Like the reused the engine and a lot of assets but.

.... yeaaah.

and thank goodness they did,
ended up making one of the most popuIar MMOs l've ever seen

I think WoW has been screwing up so much recently it's actually arguably doing better atm.

We've had a metric ton of WoW refugees lately.
