I got so done with AC when I heard that they killed off the main antagonist that transcends the entire timeline in a comic

what is this sound I can’t 😭

mIangnagm

don't worry, i got it. it was clever

@ali3n.0bserv3r so how do you feel about beat's little squirrel thing?

better partner than rhyme?

anyway, dark cloud, huh? i remember my dad picking that up one day and showing me the ropes, even though i never actually played it. funny enough, it had breakable weapons way back then and no one complained to the same degree that they did when botw/totk released (you could even break the super weapons, the "you only get this once" types)

Hawk always did have a way with words

The breakable weapons in breath of the wild thing, like

I don't wanna sound unsensitive ok but that to me sounds like gamers being lazy lol

"Oh meh gawd I gotta manage durability??"

I don't know to me it's a non-issue

i mean, i like it as a concept because yeah, weapons will break with use, even if other games show them all as unbreakable. as a gameplay mechanic, it's a little annoying because maybe you liked that weapon, or maybe you just don't wanna stop whaling on a guy to switch out a different weapon

Now, if the conversation is weapons break to often with no way to counter balance it, then sure, thats a better discussion

But just the fact that they break, to me, is not worth a complaint.

I think the problem with BOTW was that there wasn’t really a way to fix them (at least at first, not sure about later in the game)

Dark Cloud however, ya just gotta pay attention

with totk, most folks came around to it because they implemented a way to repair and enhance weapons, even if only temporarily since they would still break eventually. but what would really be helpful is some sort of gauge to show when it's gonna break. all you have now is the notice saying "your weapon's about to break" and that's it

And use repair powder

Like I hate to be that guy but pushes up glasses and combs neckbeard in DDDDDArk Souls, weapons have set druabilites but you can mitigate that through repair powder and refining them- but some, even at max, break quicker than others but you're always really strong with them

It's balanced.

even monster hunter has their whetstones for the bladed weapons

> Like I hate to be that guy
lol, no you don't 😂

It's 50/50 lol

I do on certain things

The only ones I hate being "that guy" on, is Kingdom Hearts and Comic Book shit.

KH has too much unwarranted hate and bad takes, and Comic Book people have pissed me off since I first got into comics lol thats even before you consider all the movie shit
