2 people in my family are owners of restaurants/hotels and I absolutely despise how they use tipping culture as an excuse to pay the waiters less

if waiters would get better wages on top of tipping I would do it everytime

because my god

the job firetrucking sucks

they deserve better

even with minimum wage laws in place it still firetrucking sucks
