Let me show you an example. So there's a boss in the game that has to be done solo. The boss hits insanely hard and usually you would think "Oh shit this is impossible" but with a strategic setup and proper turn manipulation via break you can overcome this challenge. Break allows you to get extra turns in this fight so you can apply a heal over time and counter mechanic which allows you to loop the boss

Break in Asano games is absolutely not like FF stagger and people who make this claim expose themselves as LARPers that never played their games
