it tells you when a fight happens

your minimap will first glow yellow and then red and 1-2 seconds later an encounter triggers

so it's not really random

can you avoid it ?

you can apparently disable it later with items

but I didn't find one of these

sounds like random with a delay/warning but still random

I would call it "predictable encounters"

like you have to fight

but you know when it happens

i'll see when its out

I personally like random encounters more because they add more friction, but there should be an option to disable them for backtracking purposes. that way you get the best of both worlds

Its still random though, just because you see it blinking doesn't mean much

Pretty sure you can also turn that function off in the settings

I was hoping you could make it faster or delay it with your running speed but it didn't make a difference to me

the comments under my tweet are so fucking funny btw

Or standing still could make it go away

But nothing

actually you trigger less encounters if you don't sprint

Octopath has the same feature

I spent like 15 minutes trying it out, it was all just the same

octopath also had that flashing feature iirc

doesnt make it not random

lol

ah, dont mind me i never learned how to read
